Completed in December 2002, our Linden Street property consists of the new construction of 42 affordable rental homes with a mix of 1- to 3-bedroom units. Located off Somerville Avenue in Union Square, the development has seven buildings, on-site parking, a large, centralized play area, and green space.

In 2004, it received the Northeast Green Building Award Honorable Mention, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association and MTC’s Renewable Energy Trust, as well as Honorable Mention for “Commercial & Residential Outstanding Exterior” from Environmental Design + Construction (ED+C) magazine.

Somerville sits on the original homelands of the Massachusett, Wampanoag, Naumkeag, and Nipmuc tribal nations. We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from this territory, and we honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land on which we live and work.
