SCC’s Social Equity Campaign Is in Full Swing

This is the time to make your pledge to SCC through the Social Equity Campaign in order to be eligible for the 2017 Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC). You’ll get 50% of your donation back as a state tax refund or credit (plus the deduction from your federal taxes).

Since the first year of CITC in 2014, SCC has benefited enormously from the generosity of our donors to expand our work and our impact to connect people to jobs, affordable housing, and economic opportunities. We are committed to finding creative and robust approaches to making sure people of all incomes can thrive in Somerville.

Join Us for a House Event

Want to learn more? Several of our donors will be hosting Social Equity Campaign/CITC house parties at their homes this fall. Interested in going? Send an email Meridith, and she’ll connect you with an event. These are informal gatherings to meet others from the community, while learning more about SCC, the Social Equity Campaign and the mechanics of CITC, and enjoying great food, drinks and lively conversation.
