Warehouse Clerk – Massachusetts State Lottery Commission

Position Description:
OB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the regional warehouse, receives and distributes tickets, on-line supplies, vending machines, betting booths, instant ticket dispensers, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive all in-coming instant tickets, supplies, etc.
Assist the Inventory Coordinator in the quality control and inventory reporting of Regional Office instant tickets and any other MSLC gaming products.
Distribute point of sale material.
Ensure that all items are stored in numerical and secure manner; Pack, wrap, and box up all materials for shipping.
Receive all vending machines, computers, etc., and store them in a safe and secure manner.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse at all times.
Maintain a daily record of warehouse activities and transactions.
Prepare weekly warehouse activity reports for the Assistant Director.
Distribute Lottery materials to agents, when requested.
Perform related duties as assigned.

[Full-Time (Salaried)] Salary Range: 64825.48-64825.48

Schedule Requirements:
1st shift

Minimum Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent record keeping skills

Working knowledge of computer software (MS Word, Excel) to aid in the development of record keeping procedures

Knowledge of MSLC products and procedures

Ability to inventory and audit in a timely manner

Ability to analyze reports

Experience and knowledge of forklifts and pallet jacks used in the daily operations of the warehouse.

Experience and knowledge of warehouse practices and procedures implemented by the Assistant Director and/or Assistant Manager

Ability to make moderate decisions in the absence of the Assistant Director and/or Assistant Manager

Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing

Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and outside vendors

Strong commitment to all safety procedures

Excellent attendance required

REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Driver’s License

Certification is required for forklift operation

Work schedule is 6:45am – 3:00pm

Salary Range Information

For external applicants who are not current employees of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC), the non-negotiable starting salary for this position is $64,825.48 (Job Grade 19/Step 1).

For current MSLC union employees, the starting salary for this position will be calculated using union promotional rules.
