In partnership with SCALE and CPR Boston, First Source Jobs will be offering a CPR/First Aid Training on June 19th. Whether you work with children, seniors or anyone in between, you should be prepared for any situation. CPR Boston can give you the tools that could one day save a life.

Are you considering purchasing your first home, but feeling overwhelmed by the process involved? This new two-session, 12-hour class will feature presentations by a real estate agent, a lender, a home inspector, a real estate attorney and an insurance agent, in addition to SCC staff, and it will teach you everything you need to know before you start the process of buying your first home. Upon completion of the course, participants receive a certificate that enables them to access products geared specifically towards first-time homebuyers such as the ONE and MassHousing loans. AHOC is a group of Somerville tenants, homeowners, and community members who are devoted to preserving and increasing affordable housing opportunities and stabilizing existing communities in Somerville.

We meet on the third Thursday of every month. Interpretation and dinner are always provided.

Over the course of four weeks, participants will gain important information and skills to help them navigate their financial lives more successfully. The class will meet on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:15 AM to Noon from June 3rd - 24th

Graduates will receive a $200 stipend to get them started on a successful financial path! The class will be open to people who live and/or work in Somerville.
