Affordable housing development has been a mainstay of Somerville Community Corporation's activities since its inception. SCC's develops both rental and homeownership affordable housing that responds to the needs of the larger Somerville community, as well as, the specific neighborhoods that the developments are located in. Homeownership developments have included condominiums, single and two family homes.

SCC's currently owns and operates eighty-six units of affordable rental housing. Winn Residential is the property manager for these rental units.
