The 100 Homes Program is a partnership with the City of Somerville and the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation – with significant support from local Community Preservation Act funds. The 100 Homes Program combats speculation and the displacement of local tenants from Somerville’s existing housing stock.
Applications are being accepted for the 100 Homes Program from people facing displacement*, and families and individuals making up to 100% of area median income (AMI)
Applicants meeting the following criteria will receive priority status:
Persons with a rent subsidy voucher that will expire within 2 months if not placed, such as Section 8 or MRVP. This application must be accompanied by a letter from the Housing Authority.
Persons at imminent risk of displacement, documented by a no-fault notice to quit, a no-fault notice of lease non-renewal, or a current summary process action pending for no-fault or for non-payment of rent where rent plus utilities exceeds 50% of gross income or where judgment has entered against the tenant whether or not execution has been stayed.
Email applications (AND verification of priority status, if applicable) to dlopez@wingatecompanies.com or mail or personally deliver applications to:
